Function
The C-DISC 13/24 is designed as an extremely durable, portable coated disc skimmer. Thirteen 24" rotating discs are coated with a special blend of polymers that attract and hold oil while the water sheds off of the oil saturated disc. The oil is removed from the coated disc as it rotates through a set of aggressive scrapers. The scraped oil is then funneled into a rear mounted sump area where a a 3" cam lock adapter is installed for transferring the product to temporary storage.
The C-DISC 13/24 skimmer can be used in a protected water environment where advancing water is no greater than .5 knots.
