Function
American Marine Optimax II boom is designed for use in protected or sheltered water. It is primarily used for deflection or protection booming of shorelines, hatcheries, harbors, and facilities. The boom can also be deployed for containment and recovery of a spill product. The boom is located throughout Southeast Alaska to allow for rapid deployment in the event of spill response.
