Function

        Vikoma Harbor Pak Inflatable boom is designed for use in protected or sheltered water.  It is primarily used for deflection or protection booming of shorelines, hatcheries, harbors, and facilities.  The boom can also be deployed for containment and recovery of a spill product.  The boom is located in Ketchikan, Sitka, and Juneau to allow for rapid deployment in the event of spill response.

        The inflatable boom is light-weight and capable of being loaded onto a helicopter or airplane for rapid response and deployment.  The boom requires a backpack blower for inflation.
